Tennessee Therapist via Telehealth

Real talk. Safe space. Honest support.

Sometimes it’s not one big thing—it’s feeling stuck, off-balance, or not quite like yourself.

Through my own experiences with anxiety and depression, I learned how powerful therapy can be. It helped me find my voice, understand my needs, wake up in the morning feeling hopeful, and begin showing up more fully in my own life.

That journey is what led me here—to sit on the other side of the screen and walk alongside you now. I get it. I’ve been there, too.

My practice in a nutshell:

  • Accepting adult clients in Tennessee via telehealth

  • I accept most major insurance providers and direct pay

  • Focus on: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship challenges

  • CBT, Person-Centered approaches & more

Hi! I'm Charlotte Bilbrey, LPC-MHSP…

but just call me Charlie.

I switched gears in 2020 to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after therapy profoundly impacted my own journey. Today, I blend professional insights with personal experience to offer a laid-back, judgement-free zone where you can truly be yourself.

My Approach

Therapy with me isn’t stiff or intimidating—it's relaxed, affirming, and direct. I provide active and reflective listening, validating your experiences while also offering honest perspectives to challenge and support your growth. Think of our sessions as collaborative conversations aimed at helping you find clarity, motivation, and hope.

Some things I’ve learned along the way:

(that might help you, too)

Imagine thoughts like clouds in the sky: temporary things that come, go, and can be observed from a distance.

Too much of a good thing can still knock you off balance.

There's no such thing as saying "the wrong thing" in therapy.

What you get out of therapy will reflect what you're willing to put in.

Real change starts with being honest—with yourself first. Then making a call for help.

Want to know something wild?

Studies have shown that the most impactful part of the healing process is just the act of reaching out for help.

In your first therapy session with me, I want to hear from you! We will collaborate together to find out what you’re looking for, what could be better in your life, and what goals we can establish together.

A few things to keep in mind when scheduling your first session:

  • Sh*t happens. Need to sign for a fridge delivery during our session? No worries, I’ll still be here when you get back. (True story!)

  • Want to wear a T-shirt? I might, too! This is a safe, no-judgement space.

  • Not even sure where to start? I’ve got you. I’m here to listen, but also to guide, support, and challenge you wherever you are right now.
