Confidentiality & Ethics
As a licensed mental health professional, I adhere to the ethical guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Everything discussed in session is confidential, with a few exceptions as required by law:
If there is reason to believe you are at serious risk of harming yourself or someone else
If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult
If I am court-ordered to release records
If any of these situations arise, I will always aim to discuss it with you directly whenever possible.
HIPAA Compliance
All telehealth sessions are conducted using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure your privacy and protection. Any information you submit through this website, including forms or contact details, is handled with care and kept confidential in accordance with federal and state privacy laws.
Scope of Services
My therapy practice is currently open to adult clients (18+) who are physically located within the state of Tennessee at the time of our sessions. Due to licensing regulations, I cannot provide therapy services to individuals located outside of Tennessee.

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
Under federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your mental health care may cost. If you are a self-pay client (not using insurance), you will be provided with this estimate before beginning services. Please reach out with any questions or to request a copy.
